MORE ABOUT NUNO
Nuno developed his passion for the ocean at a very early age. From the age of four he was already spending time at Costa da Caparica, where he first discovered bodyboarding and received his first board at just seven years old.
Since then, the beach has always been his playground. His deep connection with the ocean eventually led him to settle in Costa da Caparica, where he runs Miramar BB Shop and continues to dedicate his life to the sea and to bodyboarding.
Photography became a natural extension of that relationship with the ocean. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion, especially after he began shooting from the water, capturing the movement, colours, and shapes of the waves.
Through years of experimenting, learning, and observing the work of renowned photographers, Nuno developed his own style. For him, surf photography is about being in the right place at the right moment, ready to capture the magic that happens between surfers and the ocean.
