Kids Surf Camps in Lisbon

It is with great pleasure that Surf Lisbon once again offers you one of its most popular and fun activities ever, the Kids Summer Clinics! During school holidays, we offer structured surf weeks designed especially for kids.

Between Monday and Friday, our instructors collect surfing kiddos in various places in the Lisbon area (or other areas, upon consultation) to spend the whole day at the beach.

Summer camps Program

● Optional transport from Lisbon to the beach + return

● 2 surfing lessons per day

● Optional lunch at the restaurant – Bar “Lorosae Sol Nascente” (S. João da Caparica beach)

Is surfing safe for a 3–8 year old?

Yes. Lessons are private, with certified instructors and gentle conditions.

What if my child is afraid of the water?

We never force. We adapt. Many kids start shy and leave smiling.

What happens if conditions are not safe?

We reschedule. Safety always comes first.

Do parents stay during the lesson?

Yes. You are welcome to watch from the beach.

Do children need to know how to swim?

Not necessarily.
Many young children are still learning to feel comfortable in the water. Our instructors stay close at all times, lessons take place in shallow whitewater, and children always wear a wetsuit that helps with flotation.
The goal is to build confidence in the ocean step by step.

What happens if my child gets scared or tired?

That’s completely normal.
We adapt the lesson to your child’s mood and comfort level. Sometimes that means playing games in the sand, taking a short break, or simply enjoying the water.
There is never any pressure to perform.
